Spicy honey sriracha baked chicken legs - flavorful and low-carb weeknight dinner.
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds chicken legs, skin removed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1.5 teaspoons ground thyme
  • 1.5 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons raw honey
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 1.5 tablespoons soy sauce
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  • In a large bowl, toss chicken legs with olive oil, thyme, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until well coated. Place the seasoned chicken legs on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Roast in the preheated oven until a meat thermometer near the bone registers 165°F (74°C), for about 45-50 minutes.
  • In a saucepan over medium-low heat, melt butter with honey, sriracha sauce, and soy sauce, stirring until sauce is smooth, about 5 minutes.
  • Transfer the sauce into a spacious bowl. Using tongs, move the chicken from the baking sheet into the bowl and toss until evenly coated.
