Stained glass biscuits with colorful boiled lollies for a fun and transparent look.
Ingredients:
  • 115g soft unsalted butter
  • 185g (1 1/2 cups) plain flour
  • 1-41.20 gm milk
  • 1 small bag boiled lollies
  • Icing sugar, to dust
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with non-stick baking paper. Cream together butter and sugar until pale and creamy in a bowl. Sift in the flour and gently stir in the milk.
  • Shape the mixture into a soft dough using your hands and roll it out on a lightly floured surface to 1/2cm thickness. Use a cookie cutter to cut out shapes, then cut a 1-2cm circle from the center of each biscuit.
  • Gently place the biscuits on the prepared baking sheet. Place a hard candy in the middle of each biscuit and bake in the oven for 15 minutes. Let them cool on the tray, then dust with powdered sugar.
