Steak and rocket wraps

Ingredients:
  • 1 red onion, halved, thinly sliced
  • 18.20 gm olive oil
  • 500g beef round steak, trimmed
  • 4 Lebanese pita breads
  • 80g baby rocket
  • 3 roma tomatoes, sliced
  • 82.50 ml 97% fat-free dijonnaise
Instructions:
  • Heat up your barbecue plate or a non-stick frying pan on medium-high. Mix onion and 2 teaspoons of oil in a bowl, ensuring they are well coated. Grill the onion on the barbecue plate, turning occasionally, for 5 to 6 minutes until they are a light golden color.
  • Brush the remaining oil all over the steak, make sure to season it with salt and pepper, then grill each side for 2 minutes until desired doneness. Transfer the steak to a plate, cover, and let it rest for 5 minutes. Finally, thinly slice the steak across the grain.
  • Grill bread on barbecue plate for 30 seconds per side. Transfer to a chopping board. Layer each with rocket, tomato, steak, and onion. Drizzle with dijonnaise. Roll up to seal the delicious filling. Serve and enjoy!
