Master foolproof steamed rice with this simple recipe.
Ingredients:
  • 500g (2 1/2 cups) jasmine rice
  • 750mls (3 cups) water
Instructions:
  • In a medium saucepan, combine rice and water and cover with a tight-fitting lid. Bring to a boil over high heat. Lower the heat to medium-low and cook for 15 minutes or until water is absorbed. Let it stand off the heat for 5 minutes without removing the lid. Fluff the rice with a fork to separate the grains. Alternatively, follow package directions for cooking the rice. Serve in individual bowls.
