Ingredients:
  • 1.125L (4 1/2 cups) water
  • 660g (3 cups) white medium-grain rice
Instructions:
  • In a large saucepan over high heat, bring the water to a vigorous boil. Add the rice into the bubbling water and continue stirring constantly as it returns to a boil.
  • Lower the heat and tightly cover. Simmer for 15-20 minutes until the water is absorbed and the rice is tender. Let it sit covered for an additional 5 minutes. Fluff the grains with a fork and serve hot. (Check microwave tip for quicker cooking.)
