Vegan breakfast cereal with steel-cut oats, quinoa, almond meal, flax, and cinnamon for a nourishing start to your day.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup quinoa
  • 0.5 cup steel-cut oats
  • 2 tablespoons almond meal
  • 2 tablespoons flaxseed meal
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan, bring water to a boil, then add quinoa and oats. Simmer and stir occasionally until the water is absorbed and quinoa is tender, about 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Combine almond meal and flaxseed meal with the oat-quinoa mixture, then transfer to a glass container. Sprinkle cinnamon on top and allow to cool for approximately 15 minutes before refrigerating for storage.
