Elegant baked steelhead trout fillets in a white wine and mustard sauce - a quick and easy recipe.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 1 pound skinless steelhead trout fillets
  • 0.25 cup dry white wine
  • 2.5 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and generously coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Lay the trout fillets in the baking dish. Combine white wine, Dijon mustard, garlic, lemon juice, dill, and lemon-pepper seasoning in a bowl, then generously spread over the fillets, ensuring some sauce goes under the fish.
  • Cook the fish in the preheated oven until it turns opaque and easily flakes with a fork, about 10 to 15 minutes.
