Irresistible sweet and sticky chicken drumsticks, perfect for a delicious family dinner. Pair with fresh salad for a satisfying weeknight meal.
Ingredients:
  • 80ml tomato sauce
  • 80ml barbecue sauce
  • 12.20 gm Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 45.00 gm brown sugar
  • Salt & pepper
  • 8 chicken drumsticks (about 1.2kg)
  • 12.00 gm sesame seeds
  • Mixed salad
Instructions:
  • In a jug, mix together sauces, garlic, sugar, salt, and pepper until well combined. Line an ovenproof dish with non-stick paper.
  • Place chicken in a dish. Set aside 1/4 cup of marinade. Pour the rest over the chicken, making sure to coat each piece. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results. Take the dish out of the fridge 15 minutes before cooking.
  • Preheat your oven to 200°C. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the chicken and roast on the top shelf for 30 minutes.
  • Brush the chicken with the flavorful reserved marinade while cooking until the juices run clear. Accompany with a fresh, crisp salad on the side.
