Quick and flavorful pork dish with a tasty dressing, ready in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 43.20 gm hoisin sauce
  • 57.20 gm honey
  • 31.50 gm salt-reduced soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 4 (200g each) pork cutlets, trimmed
  • 18.40 gm rice bran oil
  • 20.00 ml rice wine vinegar
  • 1 bunch broccolini, halved lengthways and crossways
  • 100g green beans, trimmed, halved
  • 1 nashi, thinly sliced crossways
  • 62.50 ml natural sliced almonds, toasted
Instructions:
  • Mix hoisin, honey, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, and 1 teaspoon sesame oil in a small bowl. Pour half of the mixture over the pork in a shallow dish and toss to coat evenly.
  • Preheat a frying pan over medium heat. Sear pork in the pan, turning and basting with the remaining hoisin sauce, until sticky and fully cooked, about 8 minutes. Remove pork from the pan and let it rest on a plate, covered loosely with foil, for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Next, combine rice bran oil, vinegar, remaining soy sauce, and sesame oil in a small bowl and whisk together.
  • In a heatproof bowl, combine broccolini and beans, then cover with boiling water. Let sit for 2 minutes until vibrant green and tender. Drain and refresh with cold water. Transfer to a large bowl, add nashi, almonds, and dressing. Season with pepper, toss well to combine. Serve pork with broccolini and nashi salad.
