Whip up a delicious and kid-friendly meal with soba noodles, crispy rice, and flavorful veggies.
Ingredients:
  • 4 large organic chicken thigh pieces, thinly sliced
  • 40.00 ml kecap manis
  • 28.60 gm honey
  • 135g (1/2 pkt) organic dried soba noodles
  • 1 large carrot, peeled into ribbons
  • 1 large zucchini, peeled into ribbons
  • 70g (1 cup) Fried Rice Noodles
  • 62.50 ml fresh coriander leaves
  • 12.00 gm sesame seeds
  • 125ml (1/2 cup) water
  • 15.90 gm fresh lime juice
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, mix together the chicken, kecap manis, and honey.
  • Prepare the soba noodles according to the instructions on the packet. Once cooked, drain and rinse with cold water. Slice the carrot and zucchini into strips and combine them in a bowl with the soba noodles, fried rice noodles, and coriander.
  • 1. Drain the chicken, keeping the marinade. 2. Heat a large non-stick frying pan over high heat and add the chicken. 3. Cook the chicken for 7 minutes, turning occasionally, until tender and sticky. 4. Remove the chicken from heat and coat with sesame seeds. 5. Add the sesame-coated chicken to the noodle mixture.
  • Place the frying pan over high heat, adding water and reserved marinade. Boil for 3 minutes until the sauce reduces. Remove from heat and stir in lime juice. Drizzle over the noodle mixture and toss to combine.
