Whip up tasty Asian-style snow peas and carrots for a simple and fast meal!
Ingredients:
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • cooking spray
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 0.5 pound snow peas
  • 0.5 cup thinly sliced carrot
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
Instructions:
  • Combine the soy sauce and cornstarch in a bowl, whisking until the cornstarch is fully dissolved; then set aside.
  • Heat a skillet coated with cooking spray over medium heat, then add sesame oil. Stir-fry snow peas and carrots for 2 minutes. Pour broth over vegetables, bring to a boil, cover, and simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes until slightly soft. Stir in soy sauce mixture and continue stir-frying until the sauce thickens.
