Quick and easy dinner idea with delicious cheese.
Ingredients:
  • 18.20 gm olive oil
  • 150g baby spinach
  • 785g bottle tomato, onion and roast garlic pasta sauce
  • 625g packet roast chicken and garlic ravioli
  • 200g mozzarella, sliced
  • 62.50 ml fresh basil leaves
Instructions:
  • In a 6cm-deep, 24cm heavy-based frying pan over medium heat, heat oil. Add onion and cook for 5 minutes until softened. Then, stir in the spinach.
  • Sautee the mixture for 2 to 3 minutes until wilted. Then, strain the mixture through a sieve set over a bowl and press it with the back of a spoon to remove excess liquid.
  • - Pour half of the pasta sauce into the pan on low heat and warm for 1 to 2 minutes. - Layer half of the ravioli over the sauce, followed by the spinach mixture and half of the mozzarella. - Add the remaining ravioli, top with the rest of the pasta sauce, and finish with the remaining mozzarella in a single layer. - Season with pepper, cover, and enjoy!
  • Cook for 15 minutes until the ravioli is tender and the cheese is melted. Let it stand for 5 minutes without covering. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve.
