Strawberries with orange syrup and ice-cream

Ingredients:
- 2 oranges, juiced
- 25g (1 1/2 tbsp) brown sugar
- 250g (1 punnet) strawberries, hulled
- Vanilla ice-cream, to serve Sponge finger biscuits, to serve
Instructions:
- In a saucepan, mix orange juice and brown sugar, stirring over high heat until the sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil and then remove from heat. (Check microwave tip for alternative method.)
- Mix in the fresh, vibrant strawberries and allow the flavors to meld for 3-5 minutes. Serve alongside creamy ice cream and delicate sponge finger biscuits for a delightful treat.
