Strawberry Sour Cream Brown Sugar Pie: A sweet and tangy delight!
Ingredients:
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 0.75 cup sour cream
  • 0.25 cup whole wheat flour
  • 3 cups sliced strawberries
  • 1 unbaked 9 inch pie crust
  • 0.33333334326744 cup brown sugar
  • 0.33333334326744 cup whole wheat flour
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 450°F (230°C).
  • In a bowl, mix together the egg, 3/4 cup brown sugar, white sugar, sour cream, and 1/4 cup wheat flour. Place the strawberry slices into the pie crust, then pour the sour cream mixture over the berries.
  • Combine 1/3 cup brown sugar and 1/3 cup flour in a separate bowl. Add melted butter and mix until it resembles coarse meal. Sprinkle this over the sour cream and berry mixture in the pie shell.
  • Place the pie on the lowest oven rack for 15 minutes. Then lower the oven temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and bake for an additional 45 minutes. Allow the pie to cool completely, preferably overnight.
