Strawberry marshmallow trifles

Indulge in this sinfully delicious classic dessert!
Ingredients:
  • 85g packet strawberry jelly crystals
  • 250.00 gm boiling water
  • 250.00 ml mini marshmallows
  • 62.50 ml granulated nuts
  • 2 (110g each) choc-chip muffins, cut into 1.5cm cubes (see note)
  • 420.00 gm thick vanilla custard
  • Magic stardust sprinkles, to decorate
Instructions:
  • In a heatproof bowl, combine jelly crystals with boiling water, stirring until dissolved. Mix in 200ml of cold water and chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour and 30 minutes, or until slightly thickened. Gently fold in marshmallows and nuts before serving.
  • Place muffin pieces in six individual 1-cup glasses. Add a layer of jelly mixture, followed by a layer of custard. Chill in the fridge for 1 hour. Finish with a sprinkle topping before serving.
