Blend almonds, brown sugar, and butter; stuff into peaches; bake in orange brandy for a delicious and unique dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup almonds
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup butter, cut into cubes
  • 4 fresh peaches, peeled and halved
  • 0.25 cup brandy-based orange liqueur (such as Grand Marnier®)
  • 0.25 cup water
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Toast almonds in a preheated small skillet over medium heat until fragrant and lightly browned, approximately 3 minutes.
  • Combine almonds and brown sugar in a food processor and pulse until almonds are chopped. Add butter and pulse until mixture is thoroughly blended.
  • Place peaches in the baking dish with the cut sides up. Fill each peach center with 1 tablespoon of almond mixture. Drizzle liqueur and water into the dish and cover with aluminum foil.
  • Bake until the peaches are tender, 20 to 30 minutes in a preheated oven.
