Elevate Betty Crocker™ sugar cookie mix into delightful bars with just 3 ingredients. Quick to make, topped with homemade frosting. Customize with coloring and sprinkles for irresistible frosted sugar cookie bars.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1 egg
  • 3 cups powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Food color, if desired
  • Candy sprinkles, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F and prepare a 9-inch square pan by lining it with cooking parchment paper or spraying it with cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to combine cookie mix, 1/2 cup of butter, and the egg until a soft dough forms. Press the dough into the bottom of the pan.
  • Bake until perfectly golden, around 25-30 minutes. Allow to cool completely for about half an hour before enjoying.
  • In a medium bowl, use an electric mixer to blend powdered sugar, 1/2 cup butter, whipping cream, and vanilla until smooth and creamy. Add food color and mix well. Spread the frosting over the baked cookie bars and sprinkle with candy sprinkles. Cut into 16 bars.
