Make these fun and colorful sugar cookie truffles for any occasion!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • Butter and egg called for on cookie mix pouch
  • 2 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup from 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Original Rainbow Chip Frosting
  • 14 oz vanilla-flavored candy coating (almond bark)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Betty Crocker™ Decorating Decors multicolored nonpareils
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F. Prepare the drop cookies according to the instructions on the pouch. Allow the cookies to cool completely, for at least 15 minutes.
  • In a food processor, finely process half of the cookies and set aside. Then repeat with the remaining cookies. Combine all the cookie crumb mixture in the food processor. Add cream cheese and frosting. Process until well combined and mixture can be pressed into a ball in 1 to 2 minutes. Shape the mixture into 45 (1 1/4-inch) balls and place on a cookie sheet lined with waxed paper. Refrigerate for 15 minutes. Enjoy!
  • Microwave the candy coating in a medium bowl on High for 60 to 90 seconds until smooth when stirred.
  • Take out half of the cookie balls from the refrigerator. Use 2 forks to dip and roll the chilled cookie balls in the coating, one by one. Place them back on the lined cookie sheet and quickly add sprinkles on top. If the coating has cooled down, warm it up again. Repeat the process with the other half of the cookie balls. Store them covered in the refrigerator.
