Vibrant gumdrop cookie pizza made with Original Bisquick® mix - a delightful dessert delight!
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup shortening
  • 2 teaspoons grated orange peel
  • 1 1/3 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/2 cup from 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting (from 16-ounce tub)
  • 1 1/2 cups small gumdrops
  • 1/2 cup white baking chips
  • 1 teaspoon shortening
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Prepare a 12-inch pizza pan by greasing it with shortening or cooking spray. In a large bowl, combine sugar, 1/4 cup of shortening, orange peel, and egg using a spoon. Mix in Bisquick until a dough forms. Spread or pat the dough onto the bottom and up the sides of the pan.
  • Bake for 10 to 11 minutes until the crust is lightly golden and set, then cool in the pan for 30 minutes.
  • Spread the frosting evenly over the cookie crust then decorate with gumdrops. Melt white baking chips and 1 teaspoon of shortening in a small microwavable bowl uncovered on Medium-High (70%) power for 1 minute. Stir well. Microwave in 10-second intervals, stirring after each time, until the chips are smooth. Drizzle over the cookie. Allow the topping to set for 15 to 20 minutes. Cut into wedges before serving.
