Quick and flavorful cabbage stir-fry with soy sauce and rice wine, ready in 5 minutes, perfect as a side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound shredded cabbage
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Chinese cooking wine (Shaoxing wine)
Instructions:
  • In a wok or large skillet over medium heat, warm vegetable oil. Add garlic and cook until slightly browned, about 3 to 5 seconds.
  • Coat cabbage in oil by stirring; cover and cook in the wok for 1 minute.
  • Pour in the soy sauce, cooking and stirring for another minute. Then, turn up the heat to high and incorporate the Chinese cooking wine. Keep cooking and stirring until the cabbage is tender, about 2 minutes more.
  • Indulge in while piping hot!
