Flavorful crunchy oat bars, ideal for busy mornings or a tasty snack.
Ingredients:
  • 3 large ripe bananas
  • 300.00 gm traditional rolled oats
  • 62.50 ml finely chopped dried dates
  • 62.50 ml finely chopped dried apricots
  • 62.50 ml slivered almonds
  • 6.60 gm vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. Grease a 16cm x 25.5cm slice pan, then line it with baking paper, leaving a 2cm overhang.
  • Smoothly mash the ripe banana. Combine with oats, dates, dried apricots, almonds, cinnamon, and vanilla. Mix until thoroughly incorporated. Transfer mixture into the prepared pan. Using a spoon, press evenly. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden. Allow to cool completely. Cut into bars and serve.
