Super-tasty gnocchi

Indulge in a cozy gnocchi dish with spicy garlic tomato sauce, broccoli, and fennel for a satisfying meal. Don't waste broccoli stalks - chop them into the sauce for extra flavor and vitamin C boost.
Ingredients:
  • 250 g broccoli
  • ¼ of a clove of garlic
  • ½ a red onion
  • 1 fresh red chilli
  • ½ teaspoon fennel seeds
  • 1 sprig of fresh rosemary
  • 1 x 400 g tin of plum tomatoes
  • 400 g gnocchi
  • 20 g Italian hard cheese
Instructions:
  • Boil a large pan of salted water. Cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces, reserving stalk. Add stalk to boiling water for 5 minutes. Sauté garlic, onion, chilli, and fennel seeds in oil until fragrant. Add chopped broccoli stalk, tomatoes, and water. Simmer until thickened. Cook broccoli florets and gnocchi in boiling water. Drain and return to pan. Season sauce and mix with gnocchi. Serve with grated cheese.
