Juicy beef meatballs with onions and cream of wheat, baked golden brown, tossed in savory sauce, and baked until irresistible.
Ingredients:
  • 1 egg
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 0.25 cup dry cream of wheat cereal
  • 0.25 cup minced onion
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Whisk together egg and milk in a large bowl. Mix in beef, cream of wheat, and onion until combined. Shape into 1-inch balls and place on a lightly greased baking sheet.
  • Place in the oven and bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for approximately 20 minutes.
  • If needed, pat dry meatballs on paper towels. Transfer meatballs to a lightly greased 2 quart casserole dish. In a medium bowl, mix soups with evaporated milk until smooth. Pour over the meatballs.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) uncovered for 40 minutes, and garnish with parsley before serving.
