Sweet and Sour Beef with Cabbage

Easy weeknight stir-fry with tangy sweet-and-sour sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound cut-up beef for stir-fry
  • 3 cups cut-up cabbage or coleslaw mix
  • 1/2 cup sweet-and-sour sauce
  • Hot cooked couscous, rice or noodles, if desired
Instructions:
  • Heat a 12-inch skillet or wok over high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of oil and swirl to coat the sides.
  • Add the beef and stir-fry for 2 minutes until browned. Remove from the skillet.
  • Drizzle in the remaining tablespoon of oil and swirl the skillet to coat the sides. Toss in the cabbage and stir-fry for about 3 minutes until it's crisp-tender. Add the beef and sweet-and-sour sauce, stir and cook for another 2 minutes until heated through. Serve alongside couscous.
