Succulent pork loin sauteed with bell peppers, onions, and garlic in a tangy sweet sauce. Serve over fluffy rice for a flavorful meal.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 pounds pork loin, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 0.5 onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 0.25 cup white wine
  • 0.25 cup red wine vinegar
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2.5 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • In a large skillet over high heat, heat oil. Add pork, sprinkle with salt, and fry for 5-10 minutes until browned on all sides. Remove pork, cover with foil to keep warm, and set aside.
  • In the same skillet over medium heat, melt the butter, then saute the bell pepper, onion, and garlic for 5 minutes. Add flour and sugar, cooking for 1 minute. Pour in wine, vinegar, and water. Stir in soy sauce, ketchup, and black pepper. Simmer on low heat for 5 minutes or until the sauce thickens. Add pork back to skillet and stir to combine.
