"Indulge in succulent Asian-style pork, bursting with sweet surprises in every bite. Vibrant, quick and guaranteed to be loved by the whole family."
Ingredients:
  • 18.20 gm peanut oil
  • 2 x 250g pkts Coconut, Chilli & Lemon Grass Steamed basmati rice
  • 300g pork stir-fry strips
  • 1 red onion, halved, cut into wedges
  • 1 red capsicum, halved, deseeded, coarsely chopped
  • 150g sugar snap peas, trimmed
  • 1 x 225g can pineapple pieces in juice
  • 40.00 ml kecap manis
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
Instructions:
  • Prepare the rice according to the instructions on the packet.
  • Heat a sizzling wok with half of the oil until it shimmers. Cook the pork on high heat for 3 minutes until it turns golden. Plate the pork for serving.
  • 1. Preheat the wok over high heat until it's smoking. Add the remaining oil, followed by the onion, capsicum, and peas. Stir-fry for 3 minutes. Incorporate the pork, pineapple with juice, kecap manis, and vinegar, and toss until heated through.
  • Scoop the rice into individual bowls and generously spoon the stir-fry on top before serving.
