Irresistible cheesy bacon skillet with a spicy Thai twist - perfect for family dinners!
Ingredients:
  • 4 strips bacon, cut in 1/2-inch slices
  • 1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 box Hamburger Helper™ cheeseburger macaroni
  • 2 tablespoons sweet Thai chili sauce
  • 1 cup shredded pepper Jack cheese (4 oz)
  • 1/4 cup pickled sliced jalapeño chiles
Instructions:
  • In a 12-inch nonstick skillet, crisp up the bacon over medium-high heat for 4 to 6 minutes, stirring occasionally. Use a slotted spoon to transfer the bacon to a paper towel. Next, add beef and onion to the leftover bacon drippings in the skillet. Cook over medium-high heat for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring frequently, until the beef is no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
  • Combine milk, hot water, and sauce mix from the Hamburger Helper™ box in a pot. Mix well before adding uncooked pasta and chili sauce. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 9 to 11 minutes until pasta is cooked and sauce thickens. Remove from heat and serve.
  • Sprinkle cheese and bacon on top, cover and allow to sit for 2 to 3 minutes until the cheese is melted. Finish by adding sliced jalapeño chiles for a final touch.
