Elevate your steak with an Asian-inspired sauce and serve it alongside delicious Cascadian Farm organic petite green beans.
Ingredients:
  • 4 beef top loin steaks (New York, Kansas City or strip steaks) 6 oz each (1 inch thick)
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons Sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 box (8 oz) Cascadian Farm® organic whole petite green beans
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (1 medium)
  • 1/4 cup salted dry-roasted peanuts, chopped
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Allow steaks to rest at room temperature for 10 minutes. In a bowl, combine hoisin sauce, soy sauce, and 1 teaspoon of Sriracha sauce. Taste the mixture for spice level and add more Sriracha sauce if needed.
  • Set aside half of the sauce mixture; massage the remaining half onto the steaks.
  • Preheat an ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat and add a drizzle of vegetable oil. Sear steaks for 2 to 3 minutes on each side until beautifully browned.
  • Preheat skillet in the oven, then roast for 5 to 10 minutes or until cooked to your liking. While the skillet is in the oven, microwave green beans according to package instructions, drain, and transfer to a bowl. Drizzle with sesame oil and half of the lime juice, gently toss to coat.
  • Drizzle steak with reserved sauce mixture. Sprinkle with remaining lime juice and top with peanuts before serving with green beans.
