Hawaiian sweet bread rolls, bacon, green onions, eggs, and 3 cheeses combine to create a flavorful and easy bread strata.
Ingredients:
  • 6 Hawaiian bread rolls (such as King's®)
  • 0.5 cup shredded Swiss cheese, divided
  • 0.5 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
  • 3 slices cooked bacon, diced, divided
  • 4 green onions, diced, divided
  • 3 eggs
  • 0.66666668653488 cup half-and-half
  • 0.5 cup skim milk
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Dice each roll into 8 bite-sized cubes and arrange them in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  • Toast in the preheated oven for approximately 10 minutes until golden brown.
  • Create a delicious bread layer in a 1 1/2-quart baking pan. Add 1/4 cup Swiss cheese, 1/4 cup Cheddar cheese, half of the bacon, and 2 green onions on top of the bread. Gently shake to evenly distribute the toppings into the bread.
  • Whisk together eggs, half-and-half, milk, salt, and pepper until smooth. Pour over bread cubes and gently press down to soak. Top with remaining Swiss cheese, Cheddar cheese, bacon, green onions, and Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake until the strata is heated through in the preheated oven, approximately 30 minutes.
