Irresistibly sweet and moist cornbread made with cornmeal, honey, eggs, butter, and milk - enjoy hot from the oven.
Ingredients:
  • 1.3333333730698 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 2.5 cups whole milk
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 0.66666668653488 cup vegetable oil
  • 0.33333334326744 cup melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
Instructions:
  • Assemble all your ingredients.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Combine the flour, sugar, cornmeal, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl. Add the milk, beaten eggs, vegetable oil, melted butter, and honey; stir until just combined.
  • Transfer the batter into the already greased baking dish.
  • Bake until the top turns a beautiful golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, approximately 45 minutes.
