Delicious sweet potato dish with customizable spices and a crunchy topping, perfect for Thanksgiving.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups mashed cooked sweet potatoes
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2.5 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2.5 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously butter a 9-inch square baking dish.
  • Combine sweet potatoes, white sugar, eggs, 2 1/2 tablespoons melted butter, milk, salt, and vanilla in a medium bowl until smooth. Spread mixture evenly in the baking dish.
  • Combine light brown sugar, pecans, and flour in a separate bowl, then mix in the remaining 2 1/2 tablespoons of butter to create the crumb topping. Spread the topping over the sweet potatoes.
  • Bake until topping is golden brown and crispy, 25-30 minutes in the preheated oven.
