Delicious Thanksgiving sweet potato soufflé with a crunchy, sweet nut and coconut topping.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup flaked coconut
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 0.33333298563957 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.33333298563957 cup melted butter
  • 3 cups cooked and mashed sweet potatoes
  • 0.33333298563957 cup unsalted butter, softened
Instructions:
  • Collect all the ingredients needed for the recipe and preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Prepare the topping by thoroughly blending coconut, brown sugar, nuts, flour, and melted butter in a bowl.
  • Prepare the sweet potatoes: Combine mashed sweet potatoes, sugar, milk, butter, and eggs in a large bowl until thoroughly mixed.
  • Pour the mixture into a 2-quart oven-safe baking dish, then generously sprinkle the topping over the potatoes.
  • Simply bake in the preheated oven until the soufflé is fully set, which will take about 30 to 35 minutes.
