Savory taco-stuffed crescent pockets elevate taco night with seasoned beef, gooey cheese, fresh tomatoes, and cilantro.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3 tablespoons taco seasoning mix
  • 1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 4 slices pepper Jack cheese, halved on the diagonal
  • 1 Roma tomato, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Brown the beef in a large skillet, stirring occasionally, for 5 to 8 minutes. Drain excess grease, then mix in water and taco seasoning. Simmer covered over low heat.
  • Lay out crescent dough triangles on the baking sheet. Cut each triangle in half. Add pepper Jack cheese slices on top of the dough. Divide the beef mixture evenly over the cheese, then add tomato and cilantro. Fold the dough over to seal the filling inside.
  • Bake until beautifully golden, about 13 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven.
