Flavorful marinated grilled tahini chicken skewers - ideal for a quick and tasty summer BBQ.
Ingredients:
  • 8 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
  • 0.5 cup soy sauce
  • 0.25 cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 2 teaspoons Sriracha sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
  • 5 skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into 3/4-inch strips
  • 8 green onions, diced
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
  • 10 wooden skewers
Instructions:
  • Combine garlic, soy sauce, sugar, red wine vinegar, tahini, lemon juice, Sriracha sauce, and pepper in a food processor. Blend until smooth.
  • Transfer the flavorful marinade into a resealable zip-top bag, then toss in the chicken, green onions, and fragrant toasted sesame seeds. Let them mingle and marinate in the fridge for a minimum of 3 hours or, for even better flavor, overnight.
  • Place wooden skewers in a container of water and let them soak for at least 2 hours.
  • Heat up your outdoor grill until it reaches medium heat and lightly oil the grate before threading the chicken onto skewers.
  • Cook the chicken skewers on the grill until they are fully cooked and the juices run clear, approximately 3 minutes on each side.
