Succulent tahini chicken with a fusion of Asian and Mediterranean flavors, perfect over couscous or noodles.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup water
  • 1 cube chicken bouillon
  • 0.25 cup tahini (sesame paste)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger
  • 2 teaspoons butter, or as needed
  • 2 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, cut into cubes, or more to taste
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour, or as needed
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds, or as desired
Instructions:
  • 1. Boil water with bouillon cube until dissolved; reduce heat. Whisk in tahini, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger until smooth. Keep sauce warm on low heat.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, sauté chicken in melted butter until fully cooked, about 5 to 10 minutes. Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure it reaches 165 degrees F (74 degrees C) internally.
  • Gradually incorporate the flour into the tahini sauce until it thickens, about 2 to 3 minutes. Then, mix in the cooked chicken, making sure it is well coated in the flavorful tahini sauce.
