Tangy-sweet coleslaw with dry mustard and celery seed - perfect BBQ sandwich topping.
Ingredients:
  • 1 head cabbage, finely shredded
  • 1 red onion, quartered and thinly sliced
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 0.66666668653488 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed
Instructions:
  • In a spacious bowl, toss together the cabbage and red onion.
  • Combine sugar, vinegar, vegetable oil, salt, dry mustard, and celery seed in a saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil, then remove from heat.
  • Drizzle the sweet and tangy sugar-vinegar mix over the cabbage and red onion. Gently combine everything. Allow it to cool for around 10 minutes, then chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
