Ingredients:
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1 tablespoon Montreal chicken grill seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 1/4 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups Progresso™ chicken broth (from 32-oz carton)
  • 4 oz (half of 8-oz package) cream cheese, cut into cubes and softened
  • 3 cups chopped cooked chicken
  • 1 package (12 oz) frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 bag (32 oz) Ore-Ida™ Tater Tots™ frozen potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese (4 oz)
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F and generously coat a 13x9-inch (3-quart) baking dish with cooking spray.
  • In a 4-quart saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions, grill seasoning, and thyme, then cook for 4 to 6 minutes until the onions soften. Sprinkle in flour and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until golden brown. Pour in the broth and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Let it boil for 1 minute, then remove from heat. Stir in cream cheese until melted, followed by the chicken and frozen mixed vegetables.
  • Transfer the chicken mixture into a baking dish, then evenly distribute the frozen potatoes on top. Bake in the oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the dish is golden brown and reaches an internal temperature of at least 165°F.
  • Sprinkle with mouthwatering Cheddar cheese and bake until gooey and melted, in just 2 to 4 minutes.
