Create zesty Mexican-inspired sausage rolls for a flavorful twist.
Ingredients:
  • 600g lean beef mince
  • 62.50 ml chopped fresh coriander leaves
  • 375g jar medium Mexican salsa
  • 4 sheets frozen ready-rolled puff pastry
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C fan-forced. Mix together the mince, coriander, and 3/4 cup of salsa in a bowl. Cut each pastry sheet in half. Spread 1/3 cup of the mixture along one long side of a pastry sheet. Brush the opposite edge with egg. Roll up the pastry to seal the filling inside. Cut the roll into quarters and place them on prepared trays, seam-side down. Repeat with the remaining pastry, mince mixture, and egg. Brush the tops of the rolls with the remaining egg.
  • Bake until golden brown and fully cooked, approximately 25 minutes. Serve alongside the extra salsa.
