Easy and flavorful chicken dish, perfect served over rice. Your home will smell amazing while it bakes!
Ingredients:
  • 8 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 0.5 teaspoon chili powder
  • 0.25 cup distilled white vinegar
  • 0.125 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1.5 cups tomato-vegetable juice cocktail
  • 0.5 cup ketchup
  • 0.25 cup water
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for a perfect bake.
  • Arrange the chicken breasts in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Combine brown sugar, paprika, salt, dry mustard, chili powder, vinegar, cayenne pepper, Worcestershire sauce, vegetable juice cocktail, ketchup, water, and garlic in a medium bowl. Pour the sauce over the chicken evenly.
  • Bake the chicken uncovered in the preheated oven for 35 minutes. Remove, shred with a fork, and return to the sauce. Bake for another 10 minutes for extra flavor infusion. Serve over rice with freshly ground black pepper.
