Transform ground turkey into zesty Tex-Mex burgers, effortlessly cooked on the grill or broiler.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground turkey or chicken
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 can (4 oz) Old El Paso™ Chopped Green Chiles, drained
  • 4 slices (1 ounce each) Monterey Jack cheese with jalapeño peppers
  • 4 hamburger buns, split
Instructions:
  • Combine the ground turkey, zesty barbecue sauce, and spicy chilies until well blended. Form the mixture into four patties, ensuring each patty is about 3/4 inch thick.
  • Preheat broiler. Arrange patties on a broiler pan rack. Broil 10 to 14 minutes, flipping halfway through, until turkey is cooked through. Add cheese slices on top of each patty 1 minute before finishing. Broil until cheese is melted.
