Indulgent Thai tea infused with warm spices, ideal for a refreshing treat any time of day.
Ingredients:
  • 6 cups water
  • 1 cup Thai tea leaves
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon crushed cardamom pods
  • 0.25 teaspoon crushed cloves
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1.25 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup half-and-half, or to taste
  • crushed ice, as needed
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add tea leaves, vanilla extract, cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon. Cover and steep off the heat for 15 minutes.
  • Strain tea through a fine mesh sieve, discarding leaves. Stir in sugar until dissolved. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
  • Fill glasses to the brim with refreshing crushed ice, then generously pour in the flavorful tea of your choice before elegantly topping each glass with a creamy touch of half-and-half.
