Thai sweet iced milk tea: A classic and refreshing treat for summer.
Ingredients:
  • 2.5 tablespoons black tea leaves
  • 4.5 tablespoons white sugar
  • 0.25 cup evaporated milk
  • crushed ice
  • 1 tablespoon milk, divided
Instructions:
  • In a small saucepan, simmer water until boiling. Remove from heat, then infuse with black tea; steep for about 10 minutes or until preferred strength is achieved.
  • Pour the brewed tea through a strainer into a container to remove the leaves. Next, mix in the sugar and evaporated milk, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  • Prepare two servings by filling two glasses generously with ice. Gently pour the freshly brewed tea over the ice in each glass. Finish by elegantly topping off each glass with a generous 1 1/2 teaspoons of milk for a creamy finish. Enjoy!
