Indulge in Thanksgiving leftover pizza with gravy sauce, mashed potatoes, turkey, and melty mozzarella cheese.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound pizza dough
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 1.5 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1.5 cups turkey gravy
  • 2 cups chopped cooked turkey
  • 1.5 cups mashed potatoes
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.25 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and prepare your pizza pan by greasing or flouring it.
  • Spread the dough evenly onto the pizza pan.
  • In a skillet over medium-low heat, sauté mushrooms and garlic in 1 1/2 tablespoons of olive oil until mushrooms are tender, for about 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Cover pizza dough with a generous layer of gravy. Add the sautéed mushrooms, turkey, and dollops of mashed potatoes. Finish with a generous sprinkle of mozzarella cheese and fresh parsley before baking.
  • Combine the remaining 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil with garlic powder and garlic salt, then brush this flavorful mixture over the pizza crust.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until the dough is cooked and cheese is melted. Allow to cool for 3-5 minutes before serving.
