The best bolognese lasagne

Bake until golden and bubbly, for a mouthwatering beef mince lasagne.
Ingredients:
  • 18.20 gm olive oil
  • 500g 3 Star Beef Mince
  • 70g pizza sauce
  • 500g jar Leggo’s Bolognese Pasta Sauce
  • 400g fresh ricotta
  • 40.00 ml flat-leaf parsley, chopped
  • 1 Free Range Egg, lightly whisked
  • 40g parmesan
  • 250g mozzarella
  • 250g fresh lasagne sheets
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over high heat, heat oil. Add the mince and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it changes color.
  • Adjust heat to medium. Stir in Leggo’s Pizza Sauce, Leggo’s Pasta Sauce, and 1 cup (250ml) water. Season with your favorite spices. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • In a large bowl, mix together ricotta, parsley, egg, parmesan, and ½ cup (50g) mozzarella.
  • - Preheat your oven to 180C. - Spread a thin layer of meat sauce in the bottom of a 12-cup (3L) lasagne dish. - Place a single layer of lasagne sheets on top. - Add half of the meat sauce, ⅓ cup (35g) of mozzarella, another layer of lasagne sheets, and the ricotta mixture. - Top with the final layer of lasagne sheets. - Finish by spreading the remaining meat sauce on top and sprinkling with the rest of the mozzarella.
  • Bake until the mozzarella is bubbling and golden, about 25-30 minutes. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
