Rich and savory clam sauce with canned clams, clam juice, butter, and white wine over linguine.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package dried linguine
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 4 (6.5 ounce) cans minced clams
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons dry white wine
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Boil a pot of lightly salted water. Cook linguine until al dente, about 11 minutes. Drain.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté onion and garlic in olive oil until onions are translucent, about 3 to 4 minutes. Drain minced clams, saving 1/2 of the juice.
  • Combine clams, their juice, butter, wine, salt, and pepper with the onions. Let it simmer until the sauce is reduced by 1/3 and thickened, about 20 minutes.
  • Ladle the flavorful clam sauce generously over the tender linguine before serving.
