- 1 (16 ounce) package bulk hot pork sausage (such as Jimmy Dean®)
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 (10 ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chile peppers (such as RO*TEL®)
- 1 cup chopped fresh chives
- 0.25 cup chopped onion
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown and crumble sausage and onions together for about 8 minutes. Drain sausage grease in a mesh strainer and return to the skillet.
- Combine the creamy cream cheese and juicy diced tomatoes until the cheese is melted and the mixture starts to bubble. Finish by stirring in the fragrant chives right before serving.
