Homemade cookies with Mrs. Field's flavor twist, perfected through trial and error with a friend.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon coffee flavored liqueur
  • 2.25 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • First, preheat your oven to a cozy 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), then generously grease your cookie sheets.
  • Combine butter, brown sugar, and white sugar in a large bowl until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla and coffee liqueur. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually mix into the sugar mixture. Fold in chocolate chips. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto cookie sheets, 2 inches apart.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
