Spicy deviled eggs with habanero and jalapeno peppers.
Ingredients:
  • 12 eggs
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, minced
  • 1 habanero peppers, seeded and minced
  • 0.25 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 0.125 teaspoon paprika
Instructions:
  • Place eggs in a single layer in a saucepan and cover with water, ensuring the eggs are submerged by at least 1 inch. Bring to a boil over high heat, then remove from heat. Let the eggs sit in the hot water for 15 minutes. Drain the hot water and cool the eggs under cold running water in the sink before peeling.
  • Slice the chilled eggs in half lengthwise, scoop out the yolks, and combine them in a mixing bowl with jalapeno, habanero, mayonnaise, and mustard. Mash until creamy. Fill a pastry bag with the yolk mixture and pipe it into the egg whites. Finish off with a sprinkle of paprika for a beautiful garnish.
