Elevate your guacamole with spicy avocado, caramelized onions, sour cream, and cumin for a new flavor sensation.
Ingredients:
  • 2 large avocados, flesh removed
  • 100ml sour cream
  • 5.00 gm ground cumin
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 lime, rind finely grated & juiced
  • 1 small Roma tomato, finely chopped
  • 62.50 ml chopped fresh coriander, plus extra to serve
  • 18.20 gm olive oil
  • 2 red onions, finely sliced (thin wedges)
  • 1/2 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • Fresh chopped green chilli, to serve
  • Fresh chopped red chilli, to serve
Instructions:
  • Combine avocado, sour cream, cumin, garlic, and lime zest in a food processor and blend until nearly smooth. Adjust with lime juice to your liking, season with salt and pepper, and blend until the mixture is smooth.
  • Transfer the mixture into a bowl, gently incorporate the tomato and coriander, cover, and chill in the refrigerator until ready to use.
  • In a medium non-stick frying pan over medium-low heat, warm olive oil. Add onions and stir occasionally for 15-20 minutes until dark golden and caramelized. Pour in the vinegar and cook for 1 more minute. Take off the heat and let it cool.
  • Transfer the creamy guacamole to a stylish serving dish. Sprinkle on the flavorful caramelized onions, spicy chili, and fresh coriander. Enjoy the delectable dip with crispy tortilla chips.
