The ultimate slow-cooker creamed corn: frozen corn, cream cheese, milk, butter, sugar, salt, and pepper cooked on high for 2-3 hours. Creamy and luscious side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 3 bags (12 oz each) frozen whole kernel corn
  • 4 packages (3 oz each) cream cheese, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Instructions:
  • Arrange the corn evenly at the bottom of a 3- to 4-quart slow cooker. Scatter cream cheese cubes on top of the corn. Combine the remaining ingredients in a small bowl, then pour the mixture over the corn and cream cheese.
  • Cover and cook over high heat for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Before serving, gently mix the dish. You can keep the corn warm on a low heat setting for up to 2 hours, remembering to stir it from time to time.
